A week in the Côte d’Azur

As I mentioned in my previous post, I recently spent a week visiting my boyfriend’s family in the south of France. The Côte d’Azur is one of my favourite places in the whole world and I wish I could have stayed for longer. However, this was a quick trip before I flew to Montreal (the day after I got back to the UK!!) and it was so nice to chill out before I started uni over here.

This year, we went on a little road trip into the mountains. The drive up there just about killed me (I’m not great with car journeys, especially when they are at a stupidly high altitude) but the views were completely worth it. I don’t have many pictures of it unfortunately, but these were a few photos myself and Max took in a little village called Castellane.

On one of our final nights in France, Max and I went to Mougins for a romantic little dinner before I jetted off to Canada. Mougins is such a pretty little place – it literally looks like a film set of provincial France (only it’s the real deal). We were lucky enough to catch an incredible sunset when we got there over the rest of the region and over to the mountains.

And so once again I bade farewell to this beautiful part of the world. Hopefully I’ll be back again next year, or at least sometime in the future. From now on I’ll be posting more up-to-date content from here in Montreal! I have so much I want to share about this amazing city and I hope you’ll enjoy reading about it too. To see what I’ve been getting up to since I arrived follow me on instagram here.
