Sunday Catch Up #2

Good morning everyone (or afternoon, or any time you’re reading this)! Today I thought I’d do a little Sunday catch up post, because it’s been a little while since I did something chatty here on my blog. I really love writing these kind of posts because it is kind of cathartic in a way. I can just write whatever is on my mind and I always love reading your comments! I’ve been given some great advice in the comments of this blog in the past!

Exams, Exams, Exams

It is that dreaded time of the year. I’m in the midst of my final exams (ever!) at the moment and it’s rather stressful. I’m in my final year, so obviously there is a lot of pressure to perform really well so that I can actually graduate from my degree. Let’s just say, there’s been a few breakdowns!

I have 3 more exams to do and then I finish up on the 9th of May. I’m kind of getting heart palpitations just writing that, because I can’t believe uni is going to be over so soon! But I’m gonna work really hard and get through this final part so that (hopefully!) I can finish uni with some good grades!

The London Move

As I mentioned in this post, Max and I are moving to London! Honestly, I get anxious every time I think about it because I know it’s going to be a stressful experience. We don’t have much time to find somewhere to live before we go down, it’s so expensive, I need to sort out a job.. So much uncertainty and the control freak in me can’t handle it!

However, we have decided to find a flat with my brother who is also moving to London this summer. That way we’ll be able to afford a nicer place and I’ll have someone to keep me company when Max is travelling with work! I may or may not be looking at homeware to buy already…

Fitness & Health

I’ve mentioned before that one of my goals for this year was to get my fitness levels back after having knee surgery last year. For the past month I’ve been working with a personal trainer and absolutely loving it! I know it’s not for everyone, but I’ve found it so beneficial especially as I’m still recovering from an injury.

I’m planning on doing a little fitness update post over the next few weeks and chat about what I’ve been doing in the gym etc! Let me know if that’s something you’d like to see.

Travel plans

So you may know that I recently spent 2 weeks in Spain (check out Instagram for all the snaps!) which I really needed. It was so lovely to have a little bit of time off to relax and spend time with my parents. It’s a little bit depressing to be home in Glasgow now, but I’m actually jetting off again pretty soon!

I’m actually going to the Maldives with my mum after my exams are finished, as a bit of a post-uni celebration. I can’t really believe that I’m going to the Maldives – I am so, so excited! We managed to get an amazing deal on it, so I feel so lucky. There will, of course, be plenty of Instagrams & posts on here of my experience, so keep an eye out!

So that was my little Sunday catch-up (read: ramble). Let me know what you have all been getting up to and what your plans for the summer are! I’m quite excited for this summer, although that might be to do with the fact that Uni is going to be over forever!
